Welcome from Perins Head of School
Welcome to Perins School. I feel extremely privileged to be able to introduce myself as Head of School at Perins.
At Perins, we are proud of the superb opportunities we offer to all our students, who can develop in a school community underpinned by the ‘Perins Values.’ These values aim to foster resilience, a commitment to the highest educational standards, and most importantly provide the structure on which the three basic ‘Perins rights’ are predicated:
· The right to be safe.
· The right to learn.
· The right to be respected.

We value respect, inclusivity, and the importance of relationships in helping young people achieve. High expectations and aspirations are paramount in everything we do, as improvement and growth are a process that is essential to promote lifelong learning. We want all our students to: “Aspire today; Inspire tomorrow”.
We are committed to work with all students, staff, and parents. Student voice is important to us, and we work in partnership with our students in the running and decision-making of the school.
We offer a plethora of extra-curricular clubs and encourage all our students to participate. The house system is a key feature of the school, and this facilitates students mixing across year groups to bring friendly rivalry, through competition, into school life.
We also ensure there is a strong focus on the wellbeing of our students alongside academic excellence and the vibrant extra-curricular life of the school. It is vital to us that students are known and respected as individuals so that they enjoy a successful time with us. We have a programme of tutor activities designed to support students in learning how to manage their own wellbeing. Alongside this, we have a range of highly qualified, excellent pastoral staff and Family Engagement team dedicated to supporting students and their families.
Our staff are all extremely proud of Perins School. Our students are confident and ambitious for themselves and their futures, whilst being highly aware of their role in creating a caring and fair society.
If you would like to find out more about our amazing school, or see us in action, we have annual Open Day Events to which Year 5 and 6 parents are most welcome, and school tours, which are bookable through our Family Engagement team.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to Perins. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
